I bought my wedding dress 6 years ago at David’s Bridal and absolutely loved it. I really did not know what I wanted to look like for my wedding, visited a dozen other stores, and tried on many dresses but when I tried on my Oleg Cassini, 2 piece corset dress I started to cry. I did not believe the hype that that happens but it does. The dress was gorgeous and priced moderate in comparison to other stores but the customer service was outstanding. We also bought the flower girl and my mother-in law’s dress there. I was surprised at the selection and have recommended many brides to shop there.

That is Disgusting! You can not ask people to give you money, it doesn't matter how politley you word it. It is rude! Gifts should just be a bonus. NOBODY should ever EXPECT gifts, nor dictate what the gifts are. your wedding gift should be the company of those you love being there with you on your special day.

I wasn't so sure about his choice when my husband chose his best man, but I was wrong. I of course didn't interfere with his decision but my husband's choice for his best man was the best choice he made besides marrying me. This guy threw him an amazing bachelor party, helped with the reception decorations the day of the wedding when my bridesmaids weren't even there, made the best toast in the world and even randomly pulled out some awesome swing dancing moves at the reception. He was one of the biggest lives of the party and full of so many surprises!

Though I would personally avoid heathers advice as there is nothing worse than waiting until the last minute.

Pay for a photographer in advance like I have suggested and then for some bonus pictures use some throw away cameras then you have the best of both worlds. I used six cameras at mine and had very few duplicates. When everyone is having fun in the evening lots of pics are taken of each other giving you a fantastic mix and just by having the throw aways it can cost you less than $50 inc development which is a huge saving.

This seems like a great idea until you get the photos developed and see 25 different angles of your dad's toast - and in each one he has his mouth open and 1 eye closed. Or, you can tell one of the child guests got a hold of the camera and took 15 photos of their feet and 10 of the legs of the table. And 9 times out of 10 the "lighting isn't good." This is just the reality.

Photo Booths are the way to get wacky, candid photos of your guests "being themselves" or a professional photographer (with a 2nd shooter) is the way to make sure 95% of the entire day is captured in photographs.

I understand that this article is intended to assist brides on a tight budget and my advice is to find a photographer that offers last minute deals.
